Submitting Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Requests

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service available to all Bennett College students, faculty, and staff to assist you with obtaining books, articles, dissertations, and other research materials not otherwise available in the Holgate Library collection or via our NC-PALS partner institutions. For more information about ILL, please see the library's Interlibrary Loan Services page.

To submit an ILL request, follow these instructions...

First, from the library homepage, click the ILL Request Form link. This link will bring you to a blank ILL request form.

Second, read the Term and Conditions and enter your correct contact information. The library will use this information to contact you when your item comes in or if any issues arise regarding your request.

Third, with the following two examples as a guide, fill out the book or article fields for the item you are requesting. Use the Book Request fields to request any book, encyclopedia, thesis, dissertation, or other monographic item. Use the Article Request fields to request any newspaper, magazine, or peer-reviewed journal article.

Once you are done, click Submit and the library will receive and process your request!
